It is of utmost importance to us that we meet the needs of our guests whilst we are unavoidably limited by the building that our hotel is run from. The houses in Norfolk Square were built in the early 1800s and are subject to the rules of the committee that safeguards English Heritage. There is virtually no scope for making structural changes to these buildings and so there are a number of period features which may make it difficult for people with limited mobility to get to all bedrooms within the hotel which are located over six floors (basement to fourth floor). Our hotel does not have an elevator.
You can contact us on +44 (0) 207 723 3856 or by email email@example.com if you would like to discuss any special requirements. The hotel is located in central London. The closest London Underground Tube Stations are Paddington and Lancaster Gate, unfortunately neither offer wheelchair access. There is an accessible bus stop situated on Praed Street, 200m from our hotel.
Main Entrance & Reception
There are five steps followed by a further one by the main door way until you are able to gain access to the reception area. The reception is also comprised of a small lounge with a wooden effect amtico floor.
The breakfast room is located in the lower ground floor via 15 narrow steps with a wooden handrail. The breakfast room surface is a wooden effect amtico floor. Breakfast room tables and chairs are moveable.
Hallways & Staircases
All hallways and staircases are covered in carpet.
An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor near the Reception area. The floor surface in the toilets is tiled.
There are 6 accessible bedrooms located on the ground floor but these are not specifically designed for wheelchair access.
All other bedrooms are accessible by stairs only. Single, twin or double bed, triple and family combinations rooms are available. All bedroom flooring is carpeted. All bedrooms are non smoking. Fire evacuation procedures are displayed on the back of the all bedroom doors.
Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment
Wheel Chair Users
Guests who are wheelchair bound will find that access is restricted.
Visually Impaired Guests
Where guests are visually impaired, our aim (where possible) is to provide the guest with accommodation which is located on the ground floor by Reception and the St David’s Hotel team will be advised of the guests needs. We would also consider serving a continental breakfast in such a guest’s room.
Guests with Hearing Impairments
We would ask guests with any hearing impairments to advise Reception, so that we can ensure that relevant staff are aware of their needs particularly in the event of a Fire evacuation.
Assistance dogs are welcomed.
We welcome your feedback to help us continuously improve if you have any comments please phone +44 (0) 207 723 3856 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
